What is "Bespoke Development"  and why should I choose it ?

Walk into any high street PC software PC retailer and you will find a fantastic array of products all designed to help you run your business. Some of these products are very specialised like Sage, for example. Many of these products claim to be a good "Contact Management" program and when you buy them you find that all it allows is for you to record a person's name and possibly record the conversations you have with them. But what if they order something, you suddenly find there is nowhere in that system to record that sale. What if I want to send that person an email ? a fax ? Create them a letter ?

The point being that there is software readily available to buy "off the shelf" but they have their shortcomings, you could get round them by buying a package for your correspondence , another for your invoicing etc

Now add the fact that what you want to be able to record in your new system could be highly specialised ......

The solution is to have the software specially written for you , this is known as "bespoke development". The main benefits are :

  1. You get to dictate what the system can and can't do! Simple as that!
  2. You get to decide what reports and monitoring tools are placed on your precious data
  3. You get to be able to have a system written for you , then if some months later you want parts of it changing or you have a need to store extra details ; then that is easy too!

And it is not as expensive as it sounds...

Most bespoke systems are 90% based on requirements that everyone has. Every business has a need for clients ; every client has a name and address etc. What makes bespoke software different and easy is that we take standard building blocks like Clients, Emails, Document Management and simply add the details tailored to your individual needs.
